The Association of Insurers already has the first balance regarding insureds who have reported damages due to the bad weather front that affected last weekend from the Valparaíso region to Biobío.
According to information compiled by the union, until this Thursday the associated insurance companies had received about 860 complaints for claims that occurred during the past weekend. 45% of the complaints correspond to the additional clause of “nature risks”, and 25% to “physical damage to motorized vehicles”.
Regarding the areas in which complaints have been received, 45% are from the Metropolitan Region, 16% from Biobío, 14% from the Maule Region, 10% from O’Higgins, 10% from Valparaíso and 4% of the Ñuble Region.
“Although it is still too early to take stock, since it is very likely that the people affected are just getting over the emergency, there are already reports of potential accidents in these three business days from the event, and the first part of the process is underway. which is the liquidator’s allowance for evaluation.
