This is what Margi had to say about Noa Kirel’s representation at Eurovision

by time news

Jonathan Margi appeared last night at Hangar 11 in Tel Aviv, sponsored by the fashion brand Twentyfourseven. As part of the show, the singer performed for the first time the song “Lie like this” which will be released during the coming week.

Minutes after he got off the stage, we asked the singer what he had to tell us about the career he started to build for himself abroad, he replied: “There is absolutely something to wait for. I myself can’t wait anymore, but it’s happening. I’m very excited because for me it’s like the beginning of a journey I’m going through with myself.”

In our insolence, we put before him the opinion of the “Big Brother” reality show contestant, Talia Ovadia, and asked what he thought of her. He laughed and answered: “We entered Big Brother a few weeks ago and it was super funny and interesting and exciting. We got to perform for them there with a few songs and an acoustic guitar and that’s where it ended.”

As you know, Noa Kirel was chosen by the corporation to represent Israel in the Eurovision Song Contest which will be held in Great Britain, apparently, in May 2023 (following the invasion of Ukraine). Margie previously competed in the “The Next Eurovision Star” competition and qualified for the final stage but came in second place after Neta Barzilai. We asked him if he still dreams of representing Israel on the big stage, and what he thinks about the representation of the talented ex.

He explained: “It’s not something I think about at all, especially not now after I got off the stage of the hangar and all the energies are still in the air. But I wish Noa the best of luck, I think she’s an amazing choice for this representation.”
