For this reason, a team from Más Vale Sábado has taken to the streets to check how these areas are protected and the measures adopted by those who visit them.
“I carry the bag forward and the cell phone in my hand or inside the backpack, I don’t put it in my pocket because they can take it away from me,” said one woman. On the other hand, another confesses that it is her daughters who recommend that she carry “her cell phone with the strap nearby and her purse in front of her.”
In this video, the journalist from Más Vale Sábado has also interviewed a foreign woman who has been affected by these robberies: “I have already been robbed twice in Spain. That’s why I hold my cell phone very hard.”
