jpnn.com – Persib Bandung will face Port FC in the AFC Champions League (ACL) 2 competition at the Si Jalak Harupat Stadium, Soreang, Bandung Regency, Thursday (19/9/2024).
Persib and Port FC are two teams in Group F in the eastern region, along with Zhejiang FC (China) and Lion City Sailors (Singapore).
Tyronne del Pino, one of Persib’s players, once tasted what it was like to compete in the Thai League competition.
For half a season, the Spanish midfielder was loaned to Ratchaburi FC.
Tyronne also has his own assessment of the Port FC team which will be Persib’s opponent in the first match of ACL 2.
According to him, Port FC as the defending champion of the Thai League often competes at the top with teams from the Land of the White Elephant, such as Buriram United FC and Bangkok United.
“So this is one of the big teams in Thailand and in terms of their football level they are also good,” said Tyronne in Bandung, Monday (9/9/2024).
According to him, Persib should not underestimate Port FC. Last season, Tyronne and Ratchaburi FC drew 2-2 against Port FC, where Tyronne contributed two goals.
