This Tuesday December 31at exactly 10:00 p.m. downtown, at the roundabout of the Angel of Independence, Polymarchs will make attendees dance with its unique show of high energy and a set of lights and screens to say goodbye to the old year and welcome the new year.
Therefore, the Secretary of Culture of Mexico City issued a series of recommendations to “safeguard the integrity of the attendees” to the event of Polymarchs in this year-end celebration.
The above is added to the “Operation Zero Pyrotechnics” that was implemented by the Government of Mexico City through the Secretariat of Comprehensive Risk Management and Civil Protection; That is to say: the pyrotechnic show will be supplemented with a play of lights.
WHAT IS ALLOWED AND WHAT IS NOT ALLOWED TO ENTER THE POLYMARCHS EVENT?
The agency recommends carrying:
- Handbags or fanny packs.
- Cell phones.
- External batteries.
- Waterproof.
- Binoculars.
- Tennis.
- Comfortable and warm clothing.
What they urge not carry:
- Bulky bags.
- Sharp objects.
- Cans.
- Coolers.
- Alcoholic beverages.
- Aerosols.
- Laser beams.
- Glass containers.
- Drones.
- Pyrotechnics.
Regarding the bags, they did not specify the recommended measurements for each one. However, it is advisable to follow what is recommended and attend with reserved size bags.

Also, in order to guarantee the safety of all people who attend, to improve the experience, Metrobús lines 1 and 7 will offer service until 01:30 a.m. on Wednesday, January 1, 2025on the routes that run from Indios Verdes to El Caminero and from Indios Verdes to Hamburgo.
“All this for the total enjoyment of a concert that promises to turn Paseo de la Reforma into a great nightclub with music by the legendary Polymarchs, a group of DJs with almost 50 years of experience that has toured all of Mexico and the world with their disco music and high energywhich on this occasion has installed 54 screens in the public space to offer a great show, in addition to giant screens along the avenue,” Culture concluded in the statement.
Remember that the Polymarchs concert will begin at 10:00 p.m. at the Ángel de la Independencia roundabout, on Paseo de la Reforma Avenue.
