This reinterpretation of the Kawasaki Ninja H2 is sublime

by time news

The Kawasaki Ninja H2 is for many the ‘ultimate’ bike. The Holy Grail of the two wheels; a machine as powerful as it is physically beautiful. We are talking about the fastest production motorcycle in the world, with an engine four-cylinder inline 998 cc and 16 valves that gives a whopping 210 hp at 11,000 rpm…

But that doesn’t mean there isn’t room for improvement. So the famous designer Kardesign has gotten down to work and created a still improved version of the current Ninja H2. Kardesign is the same one that reimagined this same motorcycle turned into a maxiscooter with an incredible look.

This reinterpretation of the 2023 Kawasaki Ninja H2 has a slightly less sharp shape than the original bike. In fact the idea of Kardesign has been to prepare it “with less jagged and sticky parts”, giving circular relief to many appendages of the motorcycle such as the front, the fuel tank or the tail, which here is somewhat narrower and higher.

One of the details that makes this Ninja H2 so spectacular is the single-sided swingarm, which is already standard on the original bike. On the H2 the original exhaust covers part of the rim, but this time the dual-exit exhaust is integrated into the protective keel of the underbody. The rim is bare and leaving a wheel shod with some Bridgestone Battlax Hypersport S22 like the ones it also comes from the factory. The designer has reimagined the magnesium rear wheel, practically identical to the one fitted to the current Ducati Panigale.

This Ninja H2 is still unmistakable, leaving in sight the multitubular chassis in green. For the color, he has opted for a gray that has little to do with the range of colors currently offered by Akashi’s house.

To the naked eye and by dimensions, however, seems to resemble a ZX-10R more than the Ninja. The front part of the fairing makes us think that we are facing a more futuristic version of the H2, although with much more restrained front optics and in the shape of an LED strip.

by the side the four-cylinder engine appears although with a fairing that leaves a large air opening for cooling, and that covers more than the original bike.

Finally, a detail that the most conservative will like: Kardesign has chosen not to include ailerons or appendages on his bike, as the latest version of Akashi’s original bike does. We don’t know its price… But more than one would like this futuristic imagination that, of course, looks splendid.
