Called DigiTruck, a large blue truck has been roaming Île-de-France since last September. Its goal ? Fighting the digital divide. After traveling through the departments of Essonne and Yvelines to offer computer courses to the general public, this traveling classroom arrived in Hauts-de-Seine on October 23, indicates Paris News.

Until November 4 in Sceaux

An inauguration ceremony was held last Thursday in the presence of the Mayor of Sceaux, Philippe Tastes, managers of the partner company Huawei and members of the association WeTechCare, at the origin of the project. Since its creation in 2021, the DigiTruck has welcomed nearly 4,600 learners within its cabin.

The Digitruck will remain parked in front of the Social and Cultural Center of the Blagis district (CSCB) until November 4. He will then head to Val-d’Oise to allow other aspiring Internet users to train in digital technology.
