Like that night in which, for meticulousness, Gaetano Scirea lost his life. Attachment to the cause, love for one’s work and unmistakable style have characterized the life of the black and white flag par excellence, so much so that it echoes 35 years after that tragic night.
Just as alive is the memory of those who, like Franco Melli, knew Scirea: “I was having dinner on a trip to Bologna when they called me to give me the news. I remember very well that evening in which no one wanted to believe it. It’s as if it happened yesterday, and this is the greatness of Scirea“.
