The Spanish tennis player Carlos Alcaraz (2nd) suffered this Tuesday a hard injury in it ATP 500 in Rio de Janeirowhere the folded right ankle at the start of the first round match against the local Thiago Monteiro (117th), which forced him to retire.

After receiving only the second service of the local left-hander, the Murcian, 20 years old and top favorite, returned strongly and prepared to reposition himself in the center of the field, an area in which stumbled twisting brutally and losing his racket, instantly falling into the Rio brick dust with obvious signs of pain and worry.
