The DES will take place from this Tuesday, June 13 to Thursday the 15th, throughout the day, and expects to receive around 16,000 professionals of the technological sector of 40 different countries. In addition, the participation of more than 450 speakers and four hundred exhibiting companies is expected, in addition to some 250 hours of talks. Attendees are mainly European, but it is also estimated that 10% will come from America and 3% from Asia.
The idea is that it is not just about talks and conferencesbut also opportunities for networking and the creation of businesses and alliances. For this purpose, several forums have been designed by industry (banking, tourism, commercial, health, smart city, manufacturing and energy), in addition to specific agendas for the different managerial profiles and even for different specializations within the marketing industry. There will also be a new award ceremony for the European Digital Mindset Awards, which will be delivered on the night of June 14 at the Castillo del Gibralfaro and will reward innovation leaders in different areas.
And in the exhibition area, you will be able to find experts from large companies such as Banco Santander, IBM or Telefónica who will present their latest innovations in digital matters and even live demonstrations of different products. There will also be a space for startups most cutting-edge in the growth phase within The Scale Up! World Summit; in addition to the focus on the Spanish entrepreneurial ecosystem within the Spain SME Digital scenario.
The objective of the city of Malaga, which signed an agreement last year to host this event until then held in Madrid in its next five editions, is to position itself before the attendees as “an intelligent tourist experience where tradition is mixed with innovation”. .
