How much will the Minimum Wage increase in 2025?
According to the national president, the increase will be 12 percent, that is, in 2024 The daily salary was 248.93 pesos and with the increase for next year it will be in 278.80 pesos. Basically 29.87 pesos more.

However, it should be noted that in the northern border free zone of the country, the figures are different because although the increase will be 12 percent, current salaries at that point are higher.
Those who work formally in said area, in 2025 will earn a daily salary of 418.88 pesos. An increase of 44.99 pesos compared to what was perceived in 2024, which was 374.89.
Monthly border employees who earn the minimum wage will receive 12 mil 596.04 pesos for their work in Mexico by 2025.
When does the increase take effect?
The measure comes into force from the first second of the day January 1, 2025but as such, workers will see the increase reflected in the first fortnight (or week if the company or employer for whom you work pays you in said scheme).
It should be remembered that all this applies only to workers who earn the minimum wage and are incorporated into the formal sector.

If you work on a mandatory rest day, the payment is double
You should know that every time you work on a mandatory day off, the Federal Labor Law points out that your employer or company must pay you a double salary.
That is, if you earn 300 pesos a day and you worked on a mandatory rest day, you must be paid 900 pesos, of which 300 pesos are deducted from the daily payment and 600 pesos for double salary.
