Actor Prithviraj and director Shaji Kailash have apologized for the controversial dialogue in ‘Kadua’.

Directed by Shaji Kailash, Prithviraj starrer ‘Kadua’ is a movie. The film was released in theaters on 7th. It starred Vivek Oberoi, Samyuktha Menon, Arjun Asokan and others. The film released to mixed reviews and is running in theatres. In this case, there was a complaint that the film contains verses that hurt disabled children.

There were also criticisms related to this. The film’s director Shaji Kailash and Prithviraj have apologized for the lines while the State Commission for Persons with Disabilities has issued a notice to the crew.

In this regard, director Shaji Kailash said on his Facebook page, ‘I agree that the script in the film Kadua hurts the parents of differently-abled children. But we didn’t put that verse on purpose. That verse was added to make the villain’s cruelty believable. Otherwise there is no intention. I know these words won’t heal your pain. I apologize for this mistake. Actor Prithviraj also apologized after sharing this.
