During the weekend, the people of Dunakeszi were able to take part in fantastic festive programs, who celebrated the city’s 47th birthday on Saturday, while on Sunday, the excellences of Dunakeszi received the awards of the representative body as part of a spectacular, lasting beautiful experience. This year, the municipality awarded the title of honorary citizen to entrepreneur István Miklós Balogh, in addition to ten others who received city awards in recognition of their outstanding activities.

Dunakeszi’s song was played as the opening of the city celebration organized in the theater of the József Attila Cultural Center, and after the joint singing of the National Anthem, host Helga Szeredi, the communication specialist of the Dunakeszi Program Office, introduced the first program as follows: “As the opening of our festive occasion, we will see a beautiful dance performance. ‘The flower is opened by sunlight, The human soul by love.’ This timeless thought inspired the dancers of the EtvieDanse Dance Studio with the selection of today’s colorful dance bouquet. The talented young dancers of artistic director Márta Nagy presented the celebrating audience with a wonderful experience, whose beautiful production was deservedly honored with words of appreciation by mayor Csaba Dióssi, who especially highlighted the continuous and high-quality artistic performances and performances of Márta Nagy and her students over many years, who have performed in countless domestic and they can boast of international success.

– For me, the day when we present the city awards, which acknowledge and appreciate the work that the citizens of Dunakeszi do in our place of residence and in their workplace, is always very important to me – were the words of Csaba Dióssi, who says that they can boast outstanding performance in almost every field.

Praising the creative work of the local community, the mayor said that the city celebrating its 47th birthday is marveled at by many, many historic cities that are substantially larger than Dunakeszi. He called the cultural and artistic life, the Dunakeszi Symphony Orchestra, which carries Dunakeszi’s good reputation and name around the world, the folk dance and art groups, the civil communities, the populous community of retirees, the doctors giving lectures all over the country, the exemplary public safety, the The sports model from Dunakes is known and “copied” throughout the country, the academic and sports successes of the Radnót high school, the pedagogical work of the kindergarten…

“With the awards, we want to honor this work worthy of public respect, by recognizing the outstanding standing of those working in the professional sectors through the awardees,” declared Mayor Csaba Dióssi, who is convinced that the awardees are role models for many. The city manager congratulated the awardees and wished them further successful and productive work.
