jpnn.com – Thom Haye has finally officially become an Indonesian citizen (WNI).
This happened after the SC Hereenven player took the oath and pledge of allegiance to citizenship of the Republic of Indonesia at the DKI Jakarta Ministry of Law and Human Rights Office, Monday (18/1/2024).
Haye was present with Ragnar Oratmangoen during the oath taking process.
After everything was finished, Thom Haye admitted that he was relieved and happy to finally become an Indonesian citizen.
The Dutch footballer can’t wait to wear the Indonesian National Team jersey.
“After a long process, it was finally finished. After I played (with Heerenveen), I went straight to the airport. I flew 18 hours (to Indonesia).”
“Then, I came here and finished now. I am happy and thank you for the support (to Indonesian National Team supporters and all parties). I hope I can contribute to the progress of the Indonesian National Team,” said Haye.
Thom Haye himself was included as one of the Indonesian national team players to face Vietnam.
