Just a few weeks after their engagement, Thomas Gottschalk and Karina Mroß got married in Ibiza. The presenter has now shared the first pictures of the romantic wedding.
Thomas Gottschalk and Karina Mroß have secretly and quietly tied the knot. As the “Bild” newspaper reported on Saturday, the bride and groom celebrated a bohemian-style wedding on Ibiza last week. According to the report, the celebration took place on August 23 in a house on the popular holiday island that the former “Wetten, dass..?” host had rented for the occasion – sea view included.
Besides Thomas Gottschalk and Karina Mroß, only their daughter Melinda and the couple’s two closest friends were present. The entertainer’s sons were absent from the wedding. This is also shown by photos that the presenter shared on Instagram one day after the wedding was announced.
On Sunday morning, the 74-year-old published 20 photos with his more than 100,000 followers on Instagram. The first photo shows Thomas Gottschalk with his bride Karina. Gottschalk wrote about the series of pictures: “Although I still consider this event to be a very personal experience, I am taking you with me to my wedding with Karina in Ibiza.
