Deep Singh, Lucknow: Basic teachers who got mutual transfer to other districts (inter-district) two months ago will be removed from their schools first in the adjustment. According to the schedule issued by the Basic Education Council for transfers within the district (inter-district), teachers who do not fill any option themselves will be later adjusted in schools with less number of students. In this, the junior teacher will be sent to other schools first. In such a situation, the teachers who have come after getting transfer from other districts have become the most junior. After a process that lasted for about one and a half years, the inter-district mutual transfers of basic teachers were completed in June this year. After that, they were posted in the same school where they had made a mutual pair. Earlier, it used to happen that transfers were done within the district. After that the seniority list was prepared and then schools were allotted on that basis. This time, transfers were done directly to mutual schools. On this basis, such teachers became the most junior in their schools everywhere.

Now the process of inter-district transfer has started. Basic Shiksha Parishad has released a new schedule for the third time. According to this schedule, first all districts have to release the list of surplus teachers and schools needing teachers. After that, teachers willing to transfer have to choose the option of 25 schools that are in need. Out of them, schools will be allotted to them on the basis of merit and seniority. Teachers who do not choose the option will later be accommodated in schools that need teachers. Now 2,700 teachers who got transferred from other districts two months ago are worried. If they are transferred forcibly later, they will be the most junior.
