Abusing or ridiculing a person based on their body features is not a healthy trend. Yet the truth is that this continues in our society today. Many people, especially celebrities, have often shared publicly about the body shaming they have faced. Now Bollywood star Arjun Kapoor’s sister Anshula Kapoor is sharing a similar experience.
Arjun and Anshula are the children of famous producer Boney Kapoor with his first wife Mona Shourie. Boney Kapoor’s second marriage was to famous actress Sridevi. The children of this relationship are Jhanvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor. Jhanvi is already active in films. Khushi is now entering the film career. But Anshula is not the only one who can be seen actively in films or elsewhere.
It is clear from their experiences that Anshula has been affected by the ridicule she has faced because of her appearance.
Anshula took everyone to her experiences by sharing a bikini photo on Instagram. The note begins by recalling that three months ago, even when talking to a friend, she said she would never wear a swimsuit or a bikini.
‘I can’t get anything into my body. I told her that I would not be comfortable. But her reply was why not. The truth is that I have always had a problem with my body type. I thought that some clothes fit me and I should put them on. Doing this has become part of the habit. I have had this photo for weeks now. I remembered how this photo of me was in a feed of pictures of perfect bodies. I had to correct myself a lot. Bloating and bloating, stretch marks and anything else thought normal…
…When we say skin, it means that it has to return and shrink. As for me, I will always have an underbelly. That’s okay. So I gave Bikini a chance. Those were my holidays. So many happy days. I felt confident. I was comfortable in my body. I learned that it is better to find happiness instead of perfection…’ – notes Anshula.
Anshula has shared her experiences which are inspiring to many people, especially women, who are suffering from inferiority complex because of their body.
