Thousands demonstrate in Graz against compulsory vaccination – Styria

In Graz, a huge Corona demo took place in the city center on Saturday. Several thousand people protested against compulsory vaccination.

Several thousand people marched through downtown Graz on Saturday afternoon to demonstrate against compulsory vaccination. The police reported more than 120 reports, reports “ORF Steiermark”.

Most of them adhered to the mask requirement

The demo started around 1 p.m. under the motto “Together for dignity, truth and humanity. Health without compulsory vaccination must be the goal” at Graz main station. From there, the participants marched in the direction of Karmeliterplatz, where further rallies took place until 6:30 p.m., the Styrian State Police Directorate announced in a broadcast.

According to the police, the demonstration was peaceful. The majority were traveling with FFP2 masks. Nevertheless, there were 120 administrative complaints, and several demonstrators were arrested at short notice.
