On Thursday 15/02 for 6the week after week the student movement took to the streets of Greece. In more than 15 cities, dozens of Student Associations showed that they are not afraid either of the false promises to support public universities, nor, however, of the repressive actions of the state and chancellors towards students and workers.
The slogans for exclusive Public and Free Education “shaken”, for one more week, the whole country from Evros to Crete and from Corfu to Rhodes. In Athens, despite the rain, the established meeting of Student Associations and education unions was characterized by massiveness. At the “head” of the labor blocs stood out that of the workers at EKPA under the visionary slogan “Dreams with struggle stay alive”. Afterwards, the banners of education workers such as the P.E. Teachers’ Association were found. Aristotelis, of the Education Association of P.E. Iro Konstantopoulou, of the Coordination of Substitutes/Indefinite Teachers, of many ELME from various regions of Attica, etc. The march ended in a joint, mass Coordinator of Assemblies in Law, which this time was embraced by all political forces. In Thessaloniki, the police chose to brutally and unnecessarily beat the mass demonstration without succeeding in dispersing it. After the end of the march, groups of MAT attempted to invade the AUTH using chemicals.
