These threats are not made lightly. Mohamed A., the most virulent, is not 30 years old and has already escaped two assassination attempts. In Nantes, it is a heavyweight in the Bellevue district, in open war with that of Malakoff for the control of drug trafficking. Before appealing to the Court of Cassation, he was convicted of the theft of a vehicle used in a punitive expedition against the Copacabana, a shisha bar on Beaulieu Island, on March 15, 2019 – a man was seriously injured there . He is also suspected of being linked to the shooting of Moonlight, another shisha bar where a 24-year-old young man, nephew of the manager, was killed by mistake a few weeks later during a real murderous expedition led by several shooters equipped with weapons of war and circulating in Audi S3 and large displacement scooters. The investigators of the judicial police are convinced that that evening, the commando was targeting a rival. And that the two other detainees who threatened the magistrate, Ossama H. ​​and Illias N., were part of it.

Their intimidation maneuvers could have remained at the stage of ranting by detainees if incredible blunders committed by the justice system had not suddenly increased the magistrate’s concern: in the space of six months, the three men were returned to freedom. Illias N. was released from prison on February 8, 2022: the justice system did not consider his appeal against a decision refusing him release in time.
