BOLZANO. A 28-year-old drug addict from Bolzano has been reported for the crime of abuse in the family and permanently urgently removed from home. Furthermore, the police commissioner of Bolzano Paolo Sartori, in consideration of the dangerousness of the subject and the reiteration of the threatening conduct, issued a warning and an oral public safety warning to him.
The Volante officers intervened after the parents’ call. The 28-year-old, in a clear state of alteration, was shouting at his mother, father and brother, threatening them with death because they had prevented him from entering the house. The young man, moreover, in addition to the violent threats – for which the police had already been called to intervene a few hours earlier – a few moments earlier had the mother’s scooter was seriously damagedparked near the house.
With difficulty and with patient conviction, the officers calmed the 28-year-old and took him to the police station while the other remaining policemen reconstructed what happened. The desperate mother reported numerous serious episodes of violence in recent months, with constant threatening requests for money and, in some cases, even theft of family jewels to buy drugs.
