Three British citizens detained by the Taliban? The report is out

Kabul: Three British nationals reportedly in Taliban custody. It is reported that three people who are British citizens are in detention. According to reports, a philanthropist, an adventurer and a 53-year-old man who came to help those who worked in Kabul were detained. Authorities in the UK are seeking diplomatic contact with the Taliban regime after the detention emerged.

Kelvin Cornwell was an aid worker in Kabul. It is reported that he was taken into custody by the Taliban regime in January. Miles Routledge, who had come to celebrate the holiday, was the second person arrested. Miles Routledge was among the British nationals evacuated from the British Armed Forces after the Taliban came to power two years ago. The third person arrested was a charity worker in Afghanistan.

The UK’s Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) said it is constantly trying to contact British nationals. Information regarding this has also been handed over to the families.
