Three motherless girls in Ranipet have won the police constable exam after a series of failures.
Venkatesan, a farmer, hails from Kilaavatham, a village near Arakkonam in Ranipet district. The 59-year-old also has sons Preethi (27), Vaishnavi (25), Niranjani (22) and Karthikeyan (20). Their mother and Venkatesan’s wife Sasikala died 16 years ago due to ill health. In this case, Venkatesan has sent his four children to study in government schools. He continued to join college and studied till graduation.
The first daughter, Preethi, who grew up under her father’s care, was married off after passing Plus Two, and the next, Vaishnavi and Niranjani, did their graduation. She has given several stages of training to bring her childhood dream of being a policeman to girls as policemen. Two girls who appeared for the constable exam for the last three years with the ambition of becoming a constable despite training, were continuously failing.
Father Venkatesan has prepared all his three daughters namely the first daughter Preethi and two daughters for the police examination which has been completed. For this, he has given rigorous training in his farmland, and this year, due to their hard work, all three of them have passed the constable exam. They have also completed the guard training and achieved success. Through this, three girls in the same family have passed the constable exam and completed their training. The village itself is surprised and delighted to see this daughter’s hard work.
