Forecasters announce temperatures around 35 ° C for this Sunday, in certain French regions. Two new departments have been placed on orange alert for tomorrow, bringing the total to three. Météo-France had already predicted the passage of a heat wave in the Rhône, but now expects a similar phenomenon in Ain and Isère. In the surroundings, Haute-Savoie, Savoie, Haute-Loire, Loire, Ardèche and Drôme have been placed on yellow alert.

This phenomenon is described as a “non-exceptional heatwave episode for the season, but requiring special vigilance, especially for sensitive or exposed people”, by Météo-France. According to its meteorologists, the heat should continue to climb north of the Rhône-Saône axis this Saturday afternoon, where maximum temperatures of 34 to 36 ° C are expected. This Sunday, the temperatures should be similar in the departments concerned by the orange vigilance.
