Three people, including a 3-year-old boy, were killed in a car accident near the Ofarim junction in Binyamin.
MDA reported: “At 15:34, a report was received at MDA’s 101 hotline in the Yarkon area about a PO Box on Road 465 at the Ofarim junction. MDA medics and paramedics, with the assistance of an IDF medical force, determined the deaths of three casualties. “We evacuated to Beilinson and Sheba Hospital in Tel Hashomer three wounded in critical condition, including a 34-year-old woman with a head injury, a 30-year-old man with a multi-system injury and a 9-year-old girl with a multi-system injury.”
The director of the Yarkon area at MDA, Dori Haim, said: “This is a very serious car accident involving an Israeli and a Palestinian vehicle. “The large MDA teams and the IDF medical forces that arrived at the scene immediately began medical examinations for the wounded who were trapped in the vehicles.”
“Two wounded Palestinians were unconscious, with no pulse and no breathing and after a military doctor determined that they were dead. From the other vehicle we rescued 4 wounded with the help of the fire brigade, a 6-year-old boy was without signs of life and after medical tests in the field he was pronounced dead.”
“A 9-year-old girl who was unconscious suffered a fatal injury, she was without a pulse and without breathing and after prolonged resuscitation she was evacuated to Beilinson Hospital when her critical condition, a man and woman in their 30s who were severely injured were in a vague consciousness, we transferred them to an intensive care unit and evacuated them. It is very difficult for the Sheba hospitals in Tel Hashomer and Beilinson. “
