If you’m a little depressed about teachers ‘salaries, going to the polls or the drivers’ protest, the following song is for you. Harel Haddad publishes a semi-parody and semi-psychedelic song that combines some tips for a calmer and more relaxed life that supposedly come from the mouth of a coacher (personal trainer).

The clip attached to the song is actually a visit to the same coach’s clinic during couple therapy. Harel wrote the clip with the help of Adam Paz and stars in it in the lead role of Asher Ben Abu (Andrados) alongside other musical actors.

Freud describes sleep as “reactivating intrauterine existence” and “almost complete withdrawal from the world around it and ceasing all interest in it” and as an instinct to return to intrauterine life.

Harel himself suffers from sleep problems and therefore recognizes its immense value and its impact on life. Western life does not sanctify sleep to say the least. All the stimuli around do not want you to go to sleep. A lot of people go to different therapists as a result. Everything is a symptom of the fast and bright life.

Haddad grew up in a national religious home, was a shy and quiet kid who did not talk much or meet friends other than his neighborhood football friends. At home he was exposed mainly to Hassidic, Mediterranean and Tunisian music. At the age of 16 he abandoned school almost entirely in favor of music and began to play write and compose.

Music was his most powerful instrument of expression and the shy and introverted boy became a boy who sees himself in the world through music. In the army he served in the Paratroopers Brigade and fought in the Second Lebanon War. His experiences there influenced him a lot and the influences can also be found among the lyrics of his songs.

Harel is currently married and the father of five children, living in Kfar Adumim on the edge of Wadi Kelt. Musical producer and owner of Galim recording studios.
