Three Minors Arrested for Killing and Burning Body of Youth in New Delhi
New Delhi – Three minors have been arrested in connection with the killing of a youth and attempting to destroy the evidence by burning his body. The incident occurred in the Nizamuddin area of South East Delhi. The victim, identified as Azad (25), a resident of Nizam Nagar, was brutally murdered.
The emergency response vehicle staff on duty at night notified the police about the arrest of three suspicious individuals. Further investigation revealed the murder information. According to the police, locals in the area pointed to three individuals as suspects in the murder, leading to their arrest. Subsequently, a half-deformed body was discovered in Amir Khusro Park in South Delhi.
During the police interrogation, all three suspects confessed that Azad was killed on December 21 at 10 pm. They claimed that the murder was a result of sexual harassment by one of the accused. The suspects admitted to brutally beating him to death and later burning his body in an attempt to destroy evidence. Weapons used in the murder were also recovered.
