Kuwait City: Three people were arrested with drugs in Kuwait. They were arrested by the officials of the General Administration of Drug Control who tried to smuggle large quantities of narcotics into the country.
Forty kilograms of hashish and 150,000 intoxicating pills were seized from the accused. Apart from this, guns and bullets were seized from them.
Last day, 131 kg of hashish was seized in Kuwait. The Narcotics Control Directorate General and the Coast Guard were involved in the seizure of the narcotic drugs. The officers seized hashish from Iran. The Ministry of Interior also said that two Iranian nationals who crossed the Kuwait sea border were detained. The ministry added that during interrogation, the arrested persons admitted that they had deposited the drugs in the sea to be retrieved later.
A few days ago, the authorities arrested two people who smuggled drugs into Kuwait. Officers of the General Administration of Narcotics Control Division arrested two persons with 25 kilograms of hashish. They smuggled drugs into the country with the aim of selling them.
