/ The North Gas Basketball Team, which is participating in the Sharjah Women’s Championship, has attracted three professional players from America and Senegal to its ranks to support the team in the Arab Championship.
The media coordinator of the federation, Ahed Faleh, told Shafak News Agency that the players will join the Iraqi delegation in the Emirates tomorrow in preparation for the Arab Clubs Championship in Sharjah on February 2.
He added that the North Gas Women’s Basketball delegation arrived in the UAE (Sharjah) in preparation for the tournament.
The women’s basketball team of the North Gas Club arrived to participate in the Arab Clubs Championship.
On the other hand, Faleh confirmed to the agency that the Iraqi Oil basketball team is preparing to face the Lebanese Al-Hikma team for the West Asia Super Cup (WASAL) in the match that will bring them together in Lebanon tomorrow, Wednesday, at 7:45.
He said that the sons of Al-Naft coach Khaled Yahya will enter the match with full ranks and that they are seeking to reconcile with their fans after the team’s recent negative results in the tournament.
