Three local residents turned to police officers of the Vyazemsky district of the Smolensk region with allegations of fraud. Law enforcement officers found that the women found an advertisement on the Internet selling products at a reduced price.
All three local women contacted the seller, who introduced himself as a wholesaler. Having ordered the required products, the smolyanka transferred to the young man a total of more than 11 thousand rubles. However, the goods never arrived to any of them, and the fraudster cut off all ties.
The Criminal Investigation Department found that a 20-year-old local resident who had previously been convicted of property crimes was a fraudster. During interrogation, he admitted that he took possession of the money for the purpose of profit.
