Attacks and kidnappings against merchants in the State of Mexico continue. This time, three smugglers were victims of organized crime and lost their lives as a result of extortion.

The events occurred on Avenida Constituyentes, in the Las Granjas neighborhood, in Santiago Tianguistenco, a town in the State of Mexico. The victims, who have not yet been identified, were attacked with a series of gunshots, subsequently losing their lives. The bodies were dumped on the aforementioned avenue.

It is believed that they could be three merchants dedicated to the sale of chicken, where they were apparently extroverted and for not paying land rights, they were kidnapped and killed with a firearm.

Elements of the State of Mexico Security Secretariat (SSEdoMéx) and members of the State Police cordoned off the area and secured the bodies, which the State of Mexico forensic service will review for the corresponding investigations.
