BFS issued a warning to “Heber”, “Krumovgrad” and “Botev” (Vratsa) in connection with the condition of the grass surfaces of the stadiums where the teams host.

After the matches of the first round of the First Professional League were played, the Sports and Technical Commission of the BFS appealed to the Licensing Commission, which convened an extraordinary meeting.

At the meeting, the condition of the grass surfaces was discussed, and in this regard it was decided that the grounds of the “Botev” stadiums in Vratsa (“Hristo Botev” stadium), “Heber” (“Georgi Benkovski” stadium) and “Krumovgrad” ” (station “Nikola Shterev-Starika” in Komatevo) do not provide the necessary conditions for the normal holding of football matches. Official letters were sent to all three clubs stating the need for urgent measures to improve the turf.

After carrying out the improvements, the aforementioned committees should be notified, and in case of impossibility to take the necessary measures by the date of the next home match, alternative stadiums should be provided for holding football matches from the First Professional League.

Interestingly, the Komatevo stadium will also host “Botev” (Plovdiv) II, which this season returned to the Second League. The “Yellow-Blacks” welcome “Belasitsa” (Petrich) in the second round, which will be played on July 29 (Monday).
