The winning goal was scored in the 88th minute, placing the São Paulo team in third place in the Brasileirão

Fluminense hosted and defeated Palmeiras, led by Abel Ferreira, with a score of 1-0 in a match marking the 19th round of the Brasileirão.

In a clash between second and last place in the standings, the home team dominated nearly the entire match, to such an extent that Palmeiras managed to take only one shot on target throughout the game.

Nevertheless, the excitement was reserved for the 88th minute when Jhon Arias broke free from his marker and expertly responded to a backward pass from Kevin Serna. Inside the box, the Colombian midfielder showed composure and with his left foot scored a beautiful goal, thus securing Fluminense’s second consecutive victory.

On the other hand, Palmeiras dropped to third place in the standings and recorded their second defeat in the last three matches.
