Yesterday was the first Rome Derby of the 2024-2025 season: the match Lazio-Roma in the women’s league. It ended in a draw.
An exciting start to the season: that was the first seasonal derby Lazio-Roma Women’s, held yesterday at the Mirko Fersini stadium in Formello.
The final score? A 2-2 equalizer scored by Roma defender Elena Linari at the end.
Lazio-Roma Women, the match
The dance was opened by the Roma players, with a goal from striker Valentina Giacinti. Many opportunities were missed by the yellow-red team, while Lazio gathered courage and first equalized – with Le Bihan – then took the lead with Castiello at the beginning of the second half.
This is the first draw in the history of the women’s derby between Roma and Lazio.
