jpnn.comJAKARTA – The Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker) held a Coordination Meeting on the Labor Market Information System in Jakarta on Monday (8/7).
The coordination meeting entitled ‘Realizing a World Class Labor Market Information System (SIPK) for Golden Indonesia 2045’ was attended by 500 participants from within the Ministry of Manpower, ministries/institutions, provincial offices in charge of manpower.
Also present as participants were BPS, Kadin, Apindo, World Bank, GIZ, and several participants from related stakeholders.
Secretary General of the Ministry of Manpower Anwar Sanusi said that this coordination meeting aims to improve coordination and synergy between work units within the Ministry of Manpower, as well as other related agencies in the management and utilization of labor market information.
“This coordination meeting also aims to identify problems and obstacles faced in managing labor market information, as well as finding appropriate and effective solutions,” said Anwar Sanusi when delivering the report.
Through the coordination meeting, said Secretary General Anwar, his party also formulated policy recommendations and strategies for developing a better labor market information system that is responsive to labor market dynamics.
Not only that, on this occasion the Ministry of Manpower also provided information and outreach regarding the Minister of Manpower Regulation Number 5 of 2024, and its implementation. Kickoff Project Labor Market and Skills System Transformation for Labor Market Flexibility (LISTRAF).
Secretary General Anwar said the LISTRAF project consists of three components.
