KOLKATA: A woman threw a sandal at former minister Partha Chatterjee when he was brought to the hospital as an arrestee in a teacher recruitment scam case.
West Bengal’s former Industries Minister Partha Chatterjee has been arrested by the Enforcement Directorate in connection with the teacher recruitment scam in West Bengal. After this he was removed from the post of minister. He has also been suspended from the party. Rs 50 crore in cash and kilos of gold jewelery were seized from the house of his assistant and actress Arpita Mukherjee. This is also being investigated.
In this situation, officials came to Kolkata Hospital for physical examination of Partha Chatterjee. After the examination, Partha Chatterjee was waiting in the car to leave. Then a woman who came to the hospital threw the two sandals she was wearing on him. But the shoe fell on the car.
When he was caught and interrogated, it was revealed that the woman’s name was Supra and she was a mother of one child and was living in Amdala area. Regarding the reason for throwing the sandal, he said, I came here to buy medicine. We can’t even see a doctor properly. But, they have crores of money. Buying flats in Kolkata. They come to the hospital in big cars. Thus, I threw the sandal. If the sandal had fallen on his head, he would have been at peace. This is what he said.

Meanwhile, Arpita Mukherjee said the money stuck in my house is not mine. He said the money was stashed when I was not at home.
