AEW star Thunder Rosa has confirmed she is departing from Wrestleview following a partnership between WWE and SiriusXM that will rebrand the company’s wrestling channel. The transition occurs as SiriusXM’s Pro Wrestling Nation 24/7 channel officially becomes WWE Radio on Monday, July 27.
Thunder Rosa’s Departure
Rosa, who served as a regular co-host for four years, announced her exit on Friday, July 24, 2026. In a statement shared on X, Rosa described her time with the program as more than sitting behind a microphone,
noting it allowed her to share her perspective and connect with fans. She specifically thanked AEW President Tony Khan for trusting her to represent AEW on the platform.
The departure follows reports from Dave Meltzer and the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, which noted that Rosa was absent from press releases and promotional materials for the new channel. Meltzer suggested that because the new channel is a WWE controlled show,
it would be impossible to keep an AEW talent on it.
Prior to the announcement, Rosa’s appearances on the show had become less frequent, though she did call in earlier in the month for a birthday celebration for host Dave LaGreca.
The Launch of WWE Radio
WWE Radio will take over SiriusXM channel 156, serving as the official audio home for WWE. The launch is timed to precede SummerSlam weekend, with the channel providing wall-to-wall coverage of the event in Minnesota on Saturday, Aug. 1, and Sunday, Aug. 2. According to WWE, the broadcast will feature lead play-by-play announcer Vic Joseph and WWE Hall of Famer Booker T.
The new 24/7 platform will include several content streams:
- Live Event Coverage: Play-by-play audio for all major Premium Live Events (PLEs), including WrestleMania, SummerSlam, Royal Rumble, and Survivor Series.
- Simulcasts: Audio broadcasts of WWE’s weekly television programming, including Raw, SmackDown, and NXT.
- Podcast Integration: Daily episodes at 4 p.m. ET of podcasts such as “What Do You Want to Talk About?” with Cody Rhodes, “Six Feet Under” with The Undertaker, and “What’s Your Story?” with Steph McMahon.
Busted Open and Programming Lineup
Busted Open will continue to anchor the programming lineup for WWE Radio. The core cast will include main host Dave LaGreca and WWE Legends Bully Ray, Mark Henry, and Nic Nemeth. Other returning shows include Notsam Wrestling Live
with Sam Roberts and Cheap Heat Live
with Peter Rosenberg. Additionally, the channel will feature The Hart Beat with Natalya
and “Off the Ropes,” which includes Tommy Dreamer and Raj Dhesi.
The nightly Busted Open After Dark
show will also continue to air five nights a week for fan call-ins.
Editorial Tone and AEW Coverage
The partnership has raised questions regarding whether non-WWE promotions, specifically AEW, will still be discussed. Dave LaGreca stated on a Thursday episode of Busted Open Radio that the tone of the show will not change, asserting that WWE wants the show to remain as it has always been. LaGreca noted that the show will continue to be critical when necessary and offer praise when deserved.
While Bully Ray stated the show will discuss more than just WWE, he did not explicitly confirm if AEW would remain a topic of conversation. According to reports, LaGreca and Bully Ray avoided mentioning AEW by name when responding to fan inquiries about the shift in coverage.
