Thiruvananthapuram: Another change in the night rain warning in the state. The Central Meteorological Department has forecast isolated thundershowers and strong winds in six districts of Kerala in the next few hours. Pathanamthitta, Idukki, Kottayam, Ernakulam, Palakkad and Malappuram districts are likely to experience thundershowers and winds of up to 40 kmph. The Central Meteorological Department has forecast light rains in other districts at 7 pm.

However, the monsoon is expected to continue till June 1. Accordingly, a yellow alert has been issued in Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Ernakulam, Idukki and Thrissur districts today. Fishing is not allowed off the coast of Kerala from 29-05-2022 to 30-05-2022.
The Central Meteorological Department has forecast strong winds of 40 to 50 kmph along the Kerala-Lakshadweep coast from 29-05-2022 to 30-05-2022. Fishing is not allowed in these areas.
