The latest ten-day agro-meteorological bulletin of the Multidisciplinary Working Group (GTP) indicates that thunderstorms and rainfall of varying intensity are expected across the national territory between next Wednesday and Friday.
“These rainstorms of varying intensity will also be seen across the entire national territory next August 17 to 19,” he explained.
The GTP has announced that there will be generally “humid weather” across the country from August 10 to 20.
”In addition, episodes of intense rainfall will be particularly interesting for the southern and central-southern regions (Fattic, Kaolack, Kaffrin)”, states the same source.
The multidisciplinary working group is composed of state agents from the agricultural and livestock sectors, the Food Safety Commission, the Ecological Monitoring Center and the National Civil and Meteorological Agency (ANACIM).
It prepares a ten-day agro-meteorological bulletin based on the scientific contributions of these state services.
