The release date of the film, which ended shooting before June 2020, had to be postponed several times due to Kovid’s expansion. The film is also Nivin Pauly’s first theatrical release since Kovid.
‘Port’ is a film that captures the life of three eras in a story environment where sea, land and human beings are intertwined. The main theme of the film is the division of labor system that existed in Kochi till 1962 and the struggle of the workers to end it.
Along with Nivin Pauly, Nimisha Sajayan, Indrajith Sukumaran, Joju George, Poornima Indrajith, Arjun Ashokan, Sudev Nair and Manikandan Acharya will play other important roles.
