The film “The right to happiness” (Il diritto alla felicita), directed by Claudio Rossi Massimi, is presented by the Spiritual Center of the Municipality of Ioannito, in collaboration with the Italian Educational Institute of Athens, as part of the film screenings “Thursday we go to the cinema” and the dedication in contemporary Italian cinema.
The screening will take place in the courtyard of the cultural multi-purpose hall “D. Hatzis”, this Thursday, August 17, at 9 pm. Starring Remo Girone and Didier Lorenz Choubou. Year of production 2021, duration 81′.
The Project: Libero is a used book seller. Essien is a tiny immigrant who has been living in Italy for some years. Their friendship is based on the books that Essien borrows from Libero, and their bond grows along with the stories in the books. Essien learns about the western way of life through novels and Libero tries to show him a path to personal freedom.
