Tata Motors launches Diego iCNG and Decor iCNG models in India The new Diego iCNG model starts at Rs. 6.10 lakhs. Decor iCNG Price Rs. 7.70 lakhs. All prices are quoted on ex-showroom basis.
The new Tata Diego iCNG model in India is available in five variants – XE, XM, XT, XZ + (ST) and XZ + (DT). The Decor iCNG model is available in three variants: XZ, XZ + (ST) and XZ + (DT). Both the models are priced at Rs. 1 lakh more. In appearance this model looks similar to the previous variant.
Only iCNG badges are newly issued on newer models. With this new engine options are available. As for the engine, the new Decor iCNG and Diego iCNG models are powered by a 1.2 liter Revotron petrol engine. This engine produces 72 bhp. Capacity, 95 Newton meters expressing torque. It comes with a 5 speed manual gearbox.
The suspension of the newer models has been updated as the CNG kit weighs more. The ground clearance of the Diego iCNG model is 165mm and the ground clearance of the Decor iCNG model is 168mm. Consumers in India are starting to use alternative fuel-powered vehicles as petrol and diesel prices continue to rise.
The features of the Tata Diego iCNG and Decor iCNG models are similar. Accordingly, both the models have a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, JPL. Various features are provided such as Harmon sound system, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone connectivity.
