Thiago Motta emphasized that Juventus can perform better, especially in the attacking department.
The coach of the “Old Lady” was not satisfied after his team’s 0-0 draw with Roma, although he admitted that the result was fair.
Motta stated after the match: “I believe it is a fair result, in a balanced match. We didn’t concede a goal and we have another point in the standings. I am very satisfied with the team and its commitment. We could have done much better today in terms of accuracy in attack, but the opposing team knew how to defend and not give us space.”
He added subsequently: “We were very frantic. At times we did well, it was a truly difficult and balanced game. We did not realize the right moment to strike at Roma, which must be emphasized; they are a great team. Offensively, we can do better.”
Finally, he also referred to Dusan Vlahovic: “Vlahovic? I see him doing very well. He always helps the team. Sometimes he scores, sometimes he doesn’t, but in my team as a forward, I don’t only look at the goals. He needs to keep going like this.”
