Four minors were indicted and imprisoned on Wednesday, suspected of being involved in the murder of a teenager in front of his high school in Thiais (Val-de-Marne), said the Créteil prosecution. These teenagers, from Choisy-le-Roi and aged 15 and 16, were then placed in pre-trial detention by a judge of freedoms and detention, in accordance with the requisitions of the prosecution.

Tidiane, 16, was stabbed on Monday a few meters from the Guillaume Apollinaire high school where he was going. Investigators believe he was the victim of a neighborhood brawl.

A dozen attackers

His four alleged attackers were arrested on Monday and Tuesday by investigators from the Val-de-Marne Departmental Judicial Police Service and placed in police custody. They denied hitting the victim. “Three of the defendants acknowledged their presence on the scene,” said the Créteil prosecutor’s office. The fourth respondent challenged “both his participation in the facts and his presence at the scene of the attack”.

They were indicted for intentional homicide in an organized gang and attempted intentional homicide in an organized gang.

According to witnesses at the scene, Tidiane was allegedly attacked by a dozen attackers, most hiding their faces. Two of them were armed with knives. “The two perpetrators of the stab wounds are among the four in custody,” a source familiar with the matter told Le Parisien on Tuesday.
