Tiger Woods laments lack of aggressiveness in latest scramble format
Tiger Woods found himself frustrated once again on the golf course, this time bemoaning his lack of aggressiveness in a scramble format. After leaving his putt short, Woods expressed his disappointment with his performance.
With his son Charlie already close to the hole, Woods didn’t have to worry about hitting his putt close to the hole. He was only concerned with making it. “It’s a scramble,” Woods said in amazement, to which his playing partner Justin sarcastically replied, “It’s a hell of a two-putt, though.”
The Woodses are currently 2 under through five holes, trailing the leaders, the Kuchars, who shot an impressive 7-under 29 on the front nine.
It’s clear that Woods is not satisfied with his performance and is feeling the pressure to catch up to the Kuchars. The lack of aggressiveness in his play is a cause for concern as he and his son strive to improve their position in the scramble format.
