The mayor of Tijuana, Baja California, Montserrat Caballero Ramirezwas involved in a new controversy by preventing the Councilor, Claudia Casas Valdéswill use “his own private elevator.”

In a video circulating on social media, the security guard is seen informing the councilor that she was not allowed to use the building’s elevator due to “superior instructions,” while her other colleagues were allowed to do so without any problems.

At the council meeting, the councilors confronted Caballero Ramírez: “We would like to clarify a very fatal and sad issue that occurred before going up, that our colleague Claudia was not allowed to use the device due to instructions from whom they did not say, but it seems to us that it is an act of violence,” said Mónica Vázquez.
