France bans TikTok following data security concerns The government has ordered that Tik Tok be removed from the digital devices of government officials. In addition to TikTok, the French government also banned popular social media platforms such as Twitter and Instagram. The French Minister of Transformation and Public Administration shared the information officially on Twitter.
‘To ensure cyber security of our administrations and civil services, the government has decided to ban entertainment applications like TikTok on professional phones of government officials.’ Public Administration Minister tweeted.
Actions have been initiated to restrict and ban the downloading and installation of Tweak Talk application. Banned applications do not provide the necessary cyber security and data protection.
