TikTok chef Tineke “Tini” Younger is speaking out after experiencing a placental abruption that led to teh loss of one of her twin daughters in November 2025, addressing online speculation that her work ethic was to blame.

The social media star returned to TikTok on Monday, February 2, to thank supporters and clarify the circumstances surrounding the tragic loss.

In her first TikTok video in three months,Younger expressed gratitude for the outpouring of support she’s received. She directly addressed comments suggesting her dedication to creating content caused the placental abruption. “I saw a lot of people saying, ‘Oh, it’s as she was overworking herself by filming videos and doing this,'” Younger explained in the February 2 video. “It was not my fault. Unfortunately, that’s why twins are high risk, especially mono-di twins.”

looking ahead, Younger plans to continue focusing on her cooking content, with new videos planned for the Super Bowl and Valentine’s Day. “The only thing that you guys will really see is if we have to,like,hold her in the video,” she said,clarifying she won’t be sharing “mommy content.” “I’m going to stay [with] cooking content,” she added, promising “a lot of fun stuff coming out this year.”
