jpnn.comJAKARTA – TikTok is developing a new feature to clone users’ voices, with the help of artificial intelligence (AI) technology.
Through this feature, users can narrate their videos with their own voice version created by the computer.
The new TikTok feature was discovered by AssembleDebug in code, where TikTok’s new AI voice cloning feature appears similar to offerings from other companies, such as OpenAI.
Users simply record their voice saying a phrase, then the AI immediately creates a clone that mimics the speaker’s tone and inflection all within 10 seconds.
That synthetic voice can then be used to narrate the text in the video.
This means that creating content becomes easier. Simply add narration without needing to record sound directly.
Content creators can now take advantage of the feature to add unique voices to their content, even if they are not comfortable using their natural voice in their videos.
Another possible application is to create content with different voices, or accents for comedic effect.
