jpnn.comBANYUASIN – The Banyuasin Prosecutor’s Office has succeeded in uncovering a case of corruption in the funds of the Republic of Indonesia Civil Service Corps (Korpri) in that area.

Investigators have named two suspects in corruption of Korpri funds for the 2022 to 2023 fiscal year.

“We have today named (BG) and (M) as suspects in the case of managing funds from the Republic of Indonesia Civil Service Corps (Korpri) for the 2022 to 2023 fiscal year,” said Head of the Intelligence Section of the Banyuasin Prosecutor’s Office, Didi Aditya Rustanto, in his report, Thursday.

He added that the determination of the suspect was based on an investigation order from the Head of the Banyuasin District Prosecutor’s Office Number: PRINT-1942.a/L.6.19/Fd.1/11/2023 dated 27 November 2023 regarding alleged criminal acts of corruption in the management of Korpri employee funds for the 2022 to 2023 fiscal year. .

The issuance of a suspect status determination and the suspect’s detention is carried out, resulting in the potential for rejection from the family which could cause threats, disturbances, obstacles and challenges (AGHT).

The determination of the suspect confirms that the Banyuasin District Prosecutor’s Office will be fully committed to enforcing the law professionally and fairly in responding to various legal problems in society.

This determination alleged that the suspect violated First Primair Article 2 paragraph (1) jo. Article 18 of Republic of Indonesia Law Number 31 of 1999 as amended and supplemented by Republic of Indonesia Law Number 20 of 2001 concerning the Eradication of Corruption Crimes in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) 1st of the Criminal Code Jo. Article 64 paragraph (1) Subsidiary Criminal Code Article 3 jo. Article 18 Republic of Indonesia Law Number 31 of 1999.

As amended and supplemented by Republic of Indonesia Law Number 20 of 2001 concerning Eradication of Corruption Crimes in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) 1 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 64 paragraph (1) of the Criminal Code or Second Article 8 in conjunction with Article 18 of Republic of Indonesia Law Number 31 of 1999 as amended and supplemented by Republic of Indonesia Law Number 20 of 2001 concerning the Eradication of Corruption Crimes in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) 1 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 64 paragraph (1) of the Criminal Code.
